Peanut Butter and Banana Bread

Here’s a simple and healthy recipe for Peanut Butter Banana Bread – moist, full of flavor, and perfect for breakfast or a snack!

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas (mashed)🍌
  • 2 large eggs 🥚
  • 1/3 cup natural peanut butter🥜(creamy or crunchy)
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)🍯
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour (or oat flour for gluten-free)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Optional:
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips or chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease or line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash bananas in a large bowl. Add eggs, peanut butter, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla. Mix well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon (if using).
  4. Add dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts (optional).
  6. Pour into the loaf pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 45–55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool before slicing.
